Chemo Round #2 Tomorrow (Today)

I went for blood work today at around 11am and I was the only person in the lab. If you remember last week it was packed. In addition to the regular CBCs I requested my blood type, this required an additional 2 viles of blood.

After the blood work, I went up to get my drugs for the next week. I picked up my Prednisone, Pariet and Kytril (I received all of these last time). I picked up a new drug, Emeral, for anti-nausea. I am to take this 1 hour before my chemo starts - which means that I'll take it just before I leave for the hospital. The other drug that I'll be getting is Neupogen. This drug I have to inject for the next 10 days starting 24 hours after I am done Chemo. This means that I have an appointment at the cancer center for 3pm on Friday. At this time they will teach Diletta and I to self inject.

I didn't get a call today from the Cancer Center (re: blood work) so I guess that I am all clear for chemo tomorrow....

I had mentioned in a previous post that my cousin Kahley had t-shirts made for the entire family to wear for when I go in for Chemo....my cousin Kate sent me a few pictures wearing them today...

Did I mention that she loves her dogs!
